The Overcome final conference held in London

As the OVERCOME project is coming to an end, its Final Conference was held on the 8th of November 2022, at the Adam House, in London. Representatives from the partnering organisations presented to a live and an online audience the outcomes of the project, as well as its key aims and objectives, engaging the target groups (professionals – career coaches, counsellors, psychologists, stakeholders, low-skilled adults and long-term unemployed) with the resources developed. Additionally, they discussed and presented similar initiatives for supporting women, micro-businesses and vulnerable groups of people.

Apart from the consortium, Ms Laura Kressmann, Leadership & Creative Confidence Coach at Aspirationelles AND Associate Director in the Office of the CTO at Mediacom, presented the “3 mistakes I’ve made as an entry-level professional in my career and what I’ve found is game changer instead?”.

The Final Conference served as the project’s official closure by promoting its accomplishments to a wider audience.

What is Overcome?

OVERCOME is an Erasmus+ project aiming to enhance low-skilled adults’ competencies and support their inclusion in the labour market and society by reinforcing their employability skills and psychological capacities. The project is funded by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union and Movetia, the Swiss National Agency for Exchange and Mobility. The following six organisations implement it: Canary Wharf Consulting Ltd (UK), The Rural Hub (ΙΕ), Hellenic Society for Positive Psychology (Greece), CARDET (Cyprus), Mindshift (Portugal) and Institute of Development (Cyprus), as well as SVEB (Switzerland) as our associated Partner.
